25.05.21 - Celtic Harmony Trip
Today we visited a stone age village! We learnt about the changes in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. After traveling on the coach we were greeted by a real stone age man and woman! We spent the day trying out various activities and processes used during prehistory. We made bread, using a Quern stone to grind up the wheat and make the flour. We used the same process in flint knapping to create our own arrow heads out of soap. We created stone age pots, visited a chieftains roundhouse and had a go at trading using animal skins and horns! We learnt all about what life would have been like during the prehistoric period. What an amazing day!
