Monday 15th June
We are sticking to our story Jasper’s Beanstalk this week. Point to the pictures in order and describe what’s happening. Parents/carers can help with the days of the week.
Tuesday 16th June
Create a story map of Jasper’s Beanstalk. Use the image below as a guide. Parents/carers can help scribe and children can illustrate.
Wednesday 17th June
Get an adult to read Jasper’s Beanstalk using your story map. As they do act out the story. Use props if you like! Upload your acting skills on Tapestry.
Thursday 18th June
Today let’s think about philosophy for children (P4C).
Discuss these questions with your child and think about different viewpoints:
Would you rather have a super power or have a pet dinosaur?
Would you rather be a bird or a fish?
Would you rather have a tail or elf ears?
Friday 19th June
Talk to your child about the new vocabulary that you have learnt from the story Jasper’s Beanstalk (bean, plant, dug, rake, spray, hoe, slug, mow). Can you explain the meaning of each word?
