Week 5
Maths- Patterns in shape
This week we have been focussing on patterns in shapes. The children worked through the text book and completed the tasks set. They then tried and created their own patterns too.
Week 4
Sports Day
Sports day was a little different this year due to staying in bubbles but that didn't deter us from having a great time.
We took part in a variety of activities- rely race, egg and spoon, skipping, penalty shoot out, ladder run, bean bag balancing.
The children really enjoyed themselves and a good time was had by all despite the hot weather.
Week 3
Tower Bridge Trip
We had a wonderful time on our trip to Tower Bridge. The children were very excited to see many London landmarks in real life as we have been studying them in class.
We went up to the top and looked through the glass floor at the river and all the vehicles which use the bridge everyday to get from north to south.
The children drew the London Landmarks they could see and completed a spotters tally chart.
After lunch we walked along the South bank and looked at the different shapes we would see on the buildings.
Week 2
Acting out the story of Katie in London
This half term our story is Katie in London, the children have become very familiar with the storyline and the adventures of Katie and Jack
The children acted out the story as a whole class playing the London Land marks and the key characters.
Week 1

This week we spent time in the garden enjoying all the lovely plants and vegetables which have grown so much over the half term holidays.
We took our clipboards and studied the plants creating observation drawings.
