We are enjoying our last weeks in Nursery and our children are beginning to spend some time with their new teacher for next September in Reception.
We had a storyteller this week in Early years and we had lots of fun!
Last Tuesday we went to Highgate Woods and we had lots of fun! Our focus was to gain a greater knowledge of their wider environment through outdoor learning linked to the forest school approach.

We have celebrated our Sports day this week in the top pitch with lots of fun activities. Our children have been trying their best from the beginning until the end of the session. Well done Willow class!
This week we talked about the book "Tidy" exploring P4C questions (philosophy for children).
We also have been improving our gross motor skills with fun physical activities.
This week we have been really busy talking about the story of the week "The Jolly Postman" and trying to retell the different stories that we can find in the book.
We also have been working with our fine motor skills by playing with hand-eye coordination activities.
This week we have enjoyed the lovely weather with creative activities outdoors.
In English we have been really busy investigating the journey of a letter. In maths we have working with Numicon and playdough.
