Week 7
As we come to the last week of term, I cannot tell you how proud we are of all our children. It has been a pleasure seeing the children enjoying the last of term events.
The Summer term marks the end of an era for many children leaving us for the Reception class in September.
We say a sad farewell and “ Happy leaving “ to all our friend who are going to new schools in September. We also wish the children going to Reception in September Good luck for the next step of their adventure!
We wish you all a lovely Summer!
Week 5 and 6
Lilac class had a fantastic , fun and memorable sports day. They all took part in the hurdles, obstacle race ,balancing bean bag and the egg and spoon race. We were lucky to be able to stay cool in between the races, waiting patiently for the next event. Everyone tried their best and displayed great sportsmanship. We even had a parents race. Congratulations to all who competed. Well done everyone!
Week 3 and 4
During the hot weather we had a ‘beach day’, where we wore our swimming costumes and went swimming in the paddling pool!
During Art week, the theme was about Stormy seas. We had fun making waves using the shaving foam! In the drama and dance session, we pretended to be a ship and experienced lots of adventures.
Look at us having lots of fun!
Week 1 and 2
After the half term break, we have settled back into nursery with lots of fun activities.
We had Forest school with Emma, where we went on a bug hunt and identified all the bugs we found. Then we made mud pictures, and made little mini beasts using recycling materials.
Later on in the week we had a drama workshop and learnt about the importance of recycling and followed a superhero character looking after our planet.
Our class trip was to the Dockland museum, where we sang songs, watched a puppet show, looked at the artefacts of a dockers life and even dressed up as a docker too! We got excited at the mud larking soft play area.
What a lovely end of the week
