Making a sandwich
In the story of the Light House Keepers Lunch the wife makes sandwiches for her husband who is working on the lighthouse. We will be creating our own instructions in Engish in a couple of weeks so this is a great opportunity to have a go at making your own sandwich.
Your task today is to make a sandwich with any filling of your choice.
Make sure you always wash your hands before you start cooking
You need to write our your ingredients on paper and draw the different stages of making a sandwich. I have put up some examples for you. Dont forget to take a picture of your sandwich too.
Dont forget to post your sandwich drawings and pictures on the blog before you eat it.
I wonder if you can guess what my favourite sandwich is !!!
This term we will be focusing on textiles and will be working towards creating our own puppets.
Have a think of what you would like your puppet to look like.
Then draw a range of ideas for your own puppet. Draw at least 3 designs.
When you are finished choose one - this will be the one you make.
This is a chance for you to be creative!
Look at the examples below to help you but try and come up with different ideas.
You could be inspired by an animal, a character, a superhero, a person...
Don't forget to upload your designs to the class blog so I can see your wonderful creations.
Let your imagination run free...
