‘Cross the river’: Place a couple of cushions on the ground pretending they are a river and put three different objects beginning with ‘s’ on one side of ‘the river’. Choose one of the objects and say it by blending e.g. ‘s-t-ar’ cross the river. Your child will need to identify the object that you are blending and put it on the opposite side of the river.
