Week beginning 8.2.21

Day 1 (Monday 8th February 2021)

Can you continue the minibeast patterns on the worksheet that will find below. If you finish it quickly, can you make your very own minibeast pattern?

Day 2 (Tuesday 9th February 2021)

We have lots of different types of number lines in school. I wonder if  you can make your own number line using the wiggly worms found below. Be careful, because they don’t all start at 0!

Day 3 (Wednesday 10th February 2021)

Today, practice counting backwards from 20 down to 0. If it is tricky, use a number line to help. Complete the backwards worm number lines found below.

Day 4 (Thursday 11th February 2021)

Superworm the skipping rope. How many skips can you do in 1 minute? Can a grown up time you? Check your counting! How else can you move your body like superworm. Can you hula hoop for 1 minute? Can you use your body as a swing – swinging your arms? Can you do 20 of one move and count it?

Day 5 (Friday 12th February 2021)

We know from our story that rain makes the worms come to the surface. Have a go at the worm rain dance in your pack on the grass. You will need to do careful counting! Can you make your own rain dance?
