This week we learnt about the different jobs pirates have to do on a pirate ship. We learnt about the gunner (who shoots the cannons), the captain (who navigates the ship, the carpenter (who makes weapons and fixes the ship), the cook (who makes food for the whole crew) and the barber-surgeon (who's job is to cut the crews hair and help them if they are sick or wounded). 

We built our own pirate ship using the blocks and acted out different job roles on the ship...
