7.05.21 - Making a Small Change to Make a Big Difference

This term we have been learning lots about our environment and how we can take responsibility and protect it. We researched how human actions can have a negative effect on the environment and how a small change can make a huge difference. Did you know if you turn off the tap whilst you brush your teeth, this will save 24 litres of water each day, or 168 litres a week!

As a class we discussed how we could make a small difference to protect our planet. We talked about how plants are very important to the environment as they absorb a gas called carbon dioxide and make a gas called oxygen. We need oxygen to breathe. As a result in our Global Citizenship lesson this week we each planted our own seeds.

If everyone in the world made one small change to help the environment, imagine the positive difference we could make!
