Today was Earth Day. To celebrate, our school had multiple workshops throughout the day in each year group. In Reception, the children enjoyed listening to some stories and exploring lots of different natural materials. They tried to work out what each material was through looking, touching and smelling it. Later, the children chose leaves to paint to make a huge tree from printed leaves.
