We had a special visitor for Pyjamarama Day, Sam …. Who is an children’s book author. He presented an exciting assembly and we even got to ask him some questions about what it’s like to be an author. After our assembly, we took a trip to the Moreland book shop where we got to choose and take home our very own book.

Week 3

School Trip - Golden Hinde

This week we took a school trip to the Golden Hinde for our topic Land Ahoy! We have been learning all about Sir Francis Drake as well as life on board a pirate ship so it was great to see one in real life. We leant more about Sir Francis Drake’s voyage around the world and even got to handle some pirate weapons.
