We were really lucky to be chosen to be part of the National Literacy Trust's Coronation Libraries Project. In May 2024, Her Majesty Queen Camilla visited Moreland to open our new school library. This was a really special day, and we also met some famous children's authors, including Joseph Coelho, Cressida Cowell and Chris Smith. We had a fantastic storytelling session which Queen Camilla joined in with, wrote a poem about our library with Joseph Coelho and the Reading Leaders even got to meet the Queen.  Now we have an amazing library with loads of new books that children can visit every day at lunchtime and playtime. We also have a library lesson every week with our class.
